Central Retinal Artery Occlusion (CRAO) is a true eye care emergency. It is characterized by painless and sudden loss of vision in one eye. Patients most likely to experience CRAO have systemic disease such as carotid artery disease, high blood pressure, cardiac disease or other heart problems.

If you experience sudden loss of vision, do not delay in calling for an urgent care appointment. Early diagnosis and treatment is critical for your vision and overall health.
